017- [action] And things are quiet once again....

[This week in mayfield had been especially rough on everyone. Hitler was no exception. Since the only other person in his house was a robot, he'd decided it was safer to drink the milk himself. So he went down every morning, snagged a bottle, and hid in his room. Every day. And every day, he'd gotten the poison. So he'd been dead for most of the week.


But he's trying not to think about that. Today, he just wants to relax a little. Which is why he's in the park  with his sewing supplies. He appears to be making tiny, stuffed sheep. And he's tying different colored ribbon around thier necks. With different little charms on them. They're pretty cute, actually. And he's just putting the finishing touches on one right now.]


There. All done.



I wonder who I should give this one to...?

I know what you mean. I'm the only one left from my world. Of course I'm glad they're not here anymore, but at the same time....

Yes I was the only one from the Discworld here for a while. It's rather alienating at times. So I always thought it nice to have Susan and Death here.

People from my world have come and gone so much since I've been here. I wonder what causes some people to stay for years, and others to leave after a month...

I'm starting to think that it is. I think a lot of what Mayfield does is completely random. There doesn't seem to be much sense in anything that happens...

And lately it seems the structure within the town is falling apart too...

All of the evidence we got from Westport suggests that they were close once. That they started off on the same side.

I suppose. I'd thought he'd gone a little too far down to do something kind again though.

I think that... she probably wanted to end her life as herself. She'd spent so long being Jane Smith, it must have taken a horrible toll on her.

We have made a lot of progress, even if it doesn't always seem like it. And I still believe that someday we'll figure this place out.

I wonder sometimes what I'd do if I found a way out. It probably sounds strange, but.... I think maybe I'm happier here.

I'm sure there's quite a few people here that wouldn't mind staying if the town stopped torturing us every so often.

But Mayfield gave me a lot of chances to do things I never could have otherwise.

Despite all the horrible things. There are quite a few things I like about this place.

I think that the best thing about Mayfield is the people in it. I've made a lot of friends here.

It's one thing this town has done that I'm actually grateful for.
