Umm..... Tiffany? I was just wondering..... if you'd like to go to the prom. With me. It sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun.

Kay? It's Hitler. I was wondering if you could give me some advice. What do you think I should wear to the prom?

[Action// at the bakery]

[Hitler is at the Mayfield Bakery buying a cupcake. And a small package of candles. As an afterthought, he gets a second cupcake. he's pretty sure Sideswipe can't eat them, but his not!sister might like one.]

[Action for housemates]

[Hitler is sitting at the dining room table with two cupcakes. One of them has a candle in it. He is humming 'Happy Birthday' very quietly. Sad, isn't it?]

[Later, he's coming outside to talk to not!Dad. He seems slightly nervous.]

Umm..... Mr. Sideswipe? Could.... Could I ask you for a favor? It's okay if you don't want to, I really shouldn't be bothering you, anyway.

[Sideswipe isn't even bothering to hide as a car right now. He's sprawled comfortably in the driveway, examining the paint on one arm.]

Hmm? What's the matter?

[He really isn't too sure about asking this, and it shows. What if Sideswipe gets angry with him? What if it would be considered insulting in his culture?]

Ummm.... have you heard about the prom yet?

[Sideswipe rolls over, peering at him.]

The prom. It's a dance. At the high school.

I, ummm.... I'm going actually. I even have a date.

[The Autobot blinks.]

You've got... a potential mate?

[He turns bright red and makes several flustered sputtering sounds.]

It's-! She's-! We're- we're just dating! It ha-hasn't gotten that serious yet.

Not that I'm saying it will! Or that it won't! Or-!

[He stops, and looks at the ground. Very, very embarrassed.]

N-never mind...

[He just... sort of watches this, his expression resembling a raised eyebrow.]

All Spark, you humans are squeamish about these things.

[And then waves a hand.]

All right, she's your companion. Why did you need to speak with me about her?

The Prom? That's the thing at the school?

Alright.

Great! Umm... I've never actually been to dance before, but I think it'll be a lot of fun.

[He is just so excited about this.]

I've been to one here. It should be interesting.

[But she can't help but smile at his excitement.]

How have you been doing lately?

I've been alright. Umm.... it's actually my birthday today.

[He doesn't generally think of it as something to be celebrated, so he's been pretty quiet about it.]

I was planning to go to the bakery later. To maybe get a cake or something.

Really? You should have said something.

[Oh Hitler.]

I'd offer to make you one but I think England's cooking skills are rubbing off on me. Most of what I make just burns.

Why don't we go out for an ice-cream later today? It'll be my treat.

Oh! I've got just the outfit! Um, let's see... fuchsia suit, black vest and matching dress shoes, a white cravat with a white dress shirt underneath, and tasteful but understated gold cufflinks.

And make sure to part your hair in the middle and comb it down on each side so you look mysterious and intense. Girls love that kind of look.

That's.... a complicated outfit. Does it have to be fuchsia?

Well, I guess red would be okay. Oh, and I can lend you the cravat! I need it back right after the dance, though.

Do you really think I'd look good in a cravat?

Oh, definitely! The cravat is the most important part of the whole outfit!
